Why can't we have more doctors who render their services for free? Have you ever asked yourselves why this people don't cure their patients unless they are paid?
Doctors today, will not tell you what medicine is for a certain sickness, unless you pay them. Doctors today, won't put up projects like symposiums, teaching all the medicines that the audiences would ask. Because if they'll do, why in world will people go to hospitals and ask for help? Thus, it becomes a loss of business. They fear that maybe their jobs might shatter, as if their real purpose of studying medicine was to earn money. Wasn't their intentions from the beginning was to help people? How come it changed?
A true doctor will help the poor without demanding any money. Those type of doctors doesn't care how much they receive from their patients. If you are willing (with all your heart) to help people, you are not afraid to get infected by their sickness. 'Cause you are there to help them and to serve them.
I've known only few doctors who help people without getting paid. They made it their life, helping people happily with all their heart. They are the ones who told me about this. And I learned it also from my experiences and from some stories from my relatives.
Doctors today, demand that we should only use medicines that are sold in pharmacies, they even laughed at my mom when she shared stories about the effects of herbal medicines. I admire doctors who render their services for free, they are really the ones who should be called doctors. And are the ones who are the so-called DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS.
We know that this world is not permanent, and that all happenings and blessings is from Allah. Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer your deeds. So share you knowledge or "ILM", do not wait for the day that Allah will burn your tongue saying, "O Fulan! Why didn't you share the knowledge that I gave you". Allahu Akbar!
